Is the worlds end a real place? ›

Overview. World's End comprises four coastal drumlins—spoon-shaped hills formed by glaciers—extending into Hingham Harbor. John Brewer built a mansion here in 1856 and, over the next 30 years, acquired most of the peninsula's 400-plus acres as well as Sarah and Langley Islands.

The trilogy consists of Shaun of the Dead (2004), Hot Fuzz (2007), and The World's End (2013). The trilogy of films does not share a storyline, and is named after its repeated passing references to Cornetto ice cream cones.

Best alien invasion comedy movie Edgar Wright made. Though when placed next to the other Cornetto Trilogy (Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead) it kind of the weakest link. But its still a great movie made by Edgar Wright.

World's End is located within the Horton Plains National Park in Nuwara Eliya District, Sri Lanka. It is a sheer cliff, with a drop of about 4,000 feet (1,200 m). It is one of the most visited parts of the Park, and a key tourist attraction in the Nuwara Eliya District and the country at large.

This junction, with its enormous gate, was as far as they could travel from their homes along the Royal Mile. ​It was, figuratively, the edge of their world - for the city's residents, this was the World's End.

Shaun James Riley is the main protagonist of Shaun of the Dead.

After David has a breakdown, nearly killing Shaun, Dianne talks him out of leaving. Unfortunately, he gets pulled through a window and dismembered. Dianne grabs one of his legs and charges out into the horde, never to be seen again. However, the DVD bonus features of the film revealed that Dianne survived the ordeal.

Principal photography for The World's End began on 28 September 2012. Filming took place in Hertfordshire, at Elstree Studios and on location in Letchworth Garden City and Welwyn Garden City. Part of the film was also shot at High Wycombe railway station, Buckinghamshire.

Rated R for pervasive language including sexual references.

Gary King (Simon Pegg) is an immature 40-year-old who's dying to take another stab at an epic pub-crawl that he last attempted 20 years earlier. He drags his reluctant buddies back to their hometown and sets out for a night of heavy drinking. As they make their way toward their ultimate destination -- the fabled World's End pub -- Gary and his friends attempt to reconcile the past and present. However, the real struggle is for the future when their journey turns into a battle for mankind.

The World's End / Film synopsis

Jack and Elizabeth escape the Dutchman, which sinks into the maelstrom. As Beckett's ship, the Endeavour, engages the Pearl, the Dutchman rises from the sea, now captained by Will and its crew freed from Jones' curse. The two pirate ships destroy the Endeavour, killing Beckett, while his armada retreats.

World's End is a 251-acre (1 km²) park and conservation area located on a peninsula in Hingham, Massachusetts. The peninsula is bordered by the Weir River to the North and East and Hingham Harbor (part of Hingham Bay, and Boston Harbor) to the West.

World's End is a district of Chelsea, London, lying at the western end of the King's Road. Once a Victorian slum area, council housing was built here in the 20th century, including the brutalist architecture World's End estate.

You won't be able to recreate the legendary Golden Mile crawl. It's not so much that there is no 'Newton Haven' (you can find most of the locations in two Hertfordshire towns north of London) but that not all the 'pubs' are pubs. One is a restaurant, one a vacant shop, one a cinema and one is even a railway station.

The town of Newton Haven from the film doesn't actually exist, however, it is possible to enjoy a pint of bitter or larger in some of the real locations from the film shot in Hertfordshire's Welwyn Garden City and Letchworth Garden City.
