It’s never too late to be early or try and maintain some scrap of integrity and certainty, I guess. So here I am liveblogging this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with commentary hyping tonight’s card up.

Donovan Dijak vs. Noam Dar

Circling, Dar with a side headlock, shot off, leg kicks probing, Dijak with a goozle, Noam inexplicably grabs his own, to the corner, sidestep into kicks but Tall Don catches one! Booting Noam aside, Dar back with a sliding forearm and then into a Fujiwara armbar!

Donovan counters, front cradle, knee and he fallaway slams him out of the ring as we go to break!

Back from commercial, Dijak in control, Dar gets away but Dijak lands a huge tossing suplex! Big sitout chokeslam... SO CLOSE! Noam traps him on the top rope, diving lariat, fisherman buster... STILL NO! Cross armbar applied, to the floor, putting Dijak into the steps, hesitation dropkick connects! Back inside, back elbow, cover for two!

Donovan lands Cyclone Kill, fired up, Oro Mensah runs interference and eats a boot but Dijak turns around...

Noam Dar wins by pinfall with Nova Roller.

Ilja Dragunov rolls up to chat with Ava Raine backstage.

She tells him he’ll be in action backstage and lets him pick his opponent, and he turns it into an open challenge, and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a Tatum Paxley vignette where she talks about growing up weird and being obsessed with the championship, whoever might hold it, and how Lyra Valkyria was the closest thing she ever had to a friend before she let her down, and now she’s in her way.

Lola Vice vs. Sol Ruca

Feeling out, Ruca with a backflip up and over, X-Factor into a dropkick, Vice sidesteps a Stinger Splash and lands a backfist! Lining Sol up, corner hip attack, lateral press for two! Corner kicks, into trading forearms, Lola with a sleeper hold in the middle of the ring!

Ruca picks her up and rams her into the turnbuckles, but Vice goes right back to the sleeper! Sol out, pounces, springboard lariat, running powerslam connects, standing moonsault... NOPE! Jockeying for position, sunset flip for two, superkick from Ruca, up top, Blair Davenport runs interference...

Lola Vice wins by pinfall with a superkick.

Post-match, Natalya calls Lola out from the tron and says she’s going to fight her on her turf in her match, in two weeks they’ll have an NXT Underground match!

We get NXT Anonymouse footage of Ridge Holland meeting with Ava Raine and threatening Joaquin Wilde, choking him against the wall briefly, and we go to break.

Back from commercial we FINALLY get the first part of Arianna Grace’s pageant queen makeover of Gigi Dolin. Step one, dresses! Gigi wants to do black but Arianna refuses and tells her to open her mind and let elegance and grace come right in..

Joaquin Wilde vs. Ridge Holland

Holland freight trains him and then tries to help him up, tornillo for two, Joaquin sends him to the floor with a dropkick! Slingshot out, plancha denied, Ridge lays uppercuts and right hands in! Hanging Wilde in the ropes, punches and a kick, cover for two! Kneeling armbar, belly-to-belly suplex, Joaquin starts sidestepping!

Post-match, Shawn Spears, who came to ringside partway through the match, has a laugh about it.

Josh Briggs is hanging out with the trainer earlier today. He has two broken ribs but he’s cleared.

Ivar rolls up and tells him to give it a few more weeks and heal up and once Warbeard wins the North American Championship from Oba Femi he’ll give him a shot. Josh tells him to go back to Raw and lose to Sheamus again, and Ivar challenges him to a match tonight to see who gets to fight Femi.

We get TikTok video of Brinley Reece and her boys Edris Enofe and Malik Blade working out.

We see the D’Angelo family walking backstage and go to break.

Back from commercial, Andre Chase and Thea Hail have a chat.

Andre admits that Jacy Jayne was right, he bet the farm on her because he believed in her but then in the moment he felt bad and wanted her to be safe, and he wants her to know his heart is always in her corner. She apologizes for doubting his belief in her and then they hug.

The D’Angelo family make their entrance.

Tony D’Angelo gets on the mic and talks about how the rapid growth of the family hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it even without him winning the NXT Championship. At Stand & Deliver he went toe to toe with Ilja Dragunov, and he didn’t win, but this thing is about going one more round when you don’t think you can—

Enter the No Quarter Catch Crew, still missing Drew Gulak.

Charlie Dempsey gets on the mic and talks about how he didn’t like their business getting aired, and Tony says they wanted one of their own taken care of and they did, and then shoots Charlie down when he starts talking specifics. The two factions bicker about payment, the D’Angelo Family wants a Heritage Cup match, but Dempsey won’t give it him.

So of course, a brawl breaks out and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Ilja Dragunov makes his entrance to conduct his open challenge.

The locker room empties as guys swarm at the ring but Ja’Von Evans leaps the ropes and gets it!

Ilja Dragunov vs. Je’Von Evans

German suplex, Back and forth, big lariat from Je’Von, Dragunov cuts him off with a fireman’s carry, Constantine Special reversed directly into a pin... NOPE! Missile dropkick, Ilja swats him out of midair, running knee... ONLY TWO!

Powerbomb countered with a DDT and Dragunov rolls out of the ring on instinct. Evans with a suicide dive, back inside, Ilja hits a Blu-Ray to set him up...

Ilja Dragunov wins by pinfall with Torpedo Moskau.

Post-match, Ilja helps the young man up and shakes his hand.

Karmen Petrovic is interviewed backstage.

She says she’s going to be Natalya’s training partner and in her corner when Lola Vice rolls up to tell her Nattie’s entering her world and her rules, and her guts won’t help her handle the heat in NXT Underground, and just wait until you see who she has in her corner.

Thea Hail makes her entrance with the rest of Chase U to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Sol Ruca goes to Ava Raine for a match against Blair Davenport, no disqualifications, next week.

Tatum Paxley vs. Thea Hail

Feeling out, Paxley being creepy on the mat, Hail splashes her arm to work her over, Tatum with a crossbody in the corner, Karelin lift, kind of an inverted Romero Special, Thea escapes with a headbutt! Hail with axhandles, snap running neckbreaker, Jazmyn Nyx runs interference, big slam from Thea, Jacy Jayne trips her up, Paxley takes advantage...

Tatum Paxley wins by pinfall with a crucifix pin.

Post-match, Hail attacks Jayne and they need to be pulled apart! Back in the ring, Lyra Valkyria attacks Tatum Paxley and they brawl!

Roxanne Perez is interviewed backstage and says she’s content to sit back and let Tatum and Lyra fight until she has a contender. Ava Raine rolls up and just goes ahead and makes it a triple threat.

Authors of Pain make their entrance and we go to break.

Authors of Pain vs. Edris Enofe & Malik Blade

Blade and Enofe with quick tags, trying to keep the bigger man off-balance, but he gets a tag and a Blu-Ray... SO CLOSE! AOP keeping the pressure up, Edris on the wrong side of town, using him as a weapon against Blade, both of ‘em back inside...

Authors of Pain win by pinfall with Super Collider.

Post-match, Axiom and Nathan Frazer come to ringside to confront AOP.

We get another Arianna Grace / Gigi Dolin vignette where Gigi is skeptical of the wares of the store she’s been brought to. Grace tells her to be a princess you have to think, act, and dress like a princess and she thinks she has it in her. Arianna screams and runs across the room to grab an emerald green strapless number, much to Dolin’s dismay.

Gigi says she can make it her own, right, and Arianna says of course. And of course, Gigi’s project to make it her own involves slashing it up and pining a bunch of black net onto it and I mean listen she’s a pretty lady. Gigi says she’ll wear it out and Arianna’s paying, to which Grace fans a fistful of credit cards at the women running the till.

Ivar makes his entrance and we go to break.

Ivar vs. Josh Briggs

Ivar hard out the gates, back elbows in the corner while Oba Femi watches backstage, whip across, Josh runs through him and lands a big boot! Back and forth, Bossman Slam from Ivar, underhooks... TIGER DRIVER CAN’T PUT BRIGGS DOWN! More back and forth, Ivar off the top...

Ivar wins by pinfall with the Doomsault.

Oba Femi is interviewed backstage and he simply calls Ivar’s win interesting.

We cut over to Oro Mensah laying in pain, Femi clearly having trucked him on his way out.

Commentary hypes up the Spring Breakin’ card for us.

We see the cage being assembled like it’s an indie show at intermission and we get a video package for the match to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Carmelo Hayes is interviewed and says he’s going to take everything from Trick Willy’s ungrateful ass.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Trick Williams (Steel Cage Match)

Shove, circling, Melo shoots him off, Trick catches him, bodyslam in the middle of the ring! Another slam, Hayes floats over a third, climbing, Williams pulls him back down! One of Carmelo’s goons passes him a billy club and he wails on Trick with it and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Hayes stomping Williams’ shoulder in the turnbuckles! Carmelo pressing the attack, hammering him against the steel but Trick falls over and Hayes eats the steel! Trick gets a Book End off the second rope and both men are down and out! Willias starts throwing him into the cage over and over again, jumping neckbreaker... SO CLOSE!

Passing Hayes into the cage, Williams gets his arm snapped over the top rope, springboard lariat countered with another Book End... STILL NO! DDT from Melo, only a nearfall, lariat gets a knee and both men are down again! Both men smashing each other into the steel, back on the mat, 540 leg lariat from Williams and Hayes summons his goons!

Trick fights them valiantly, Hayes has a chair, duck the shot, Trick Knee through the chair... IT’S OVER!

Trick Williams wins by pinfall with a chair-assisted Trickshot.

Post-match, Ilja Dragunov appears in the crowd for a staredown with Trick.

That’s the show, folks.
