You can use your SNAP to buy food at all stores that accept EBT including large and small grocery stores, convenience stores. See Question 87 about the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) at farmers markets, CSAs and other locations. You do not need to have a stove or other cooking facilities to get SNAP benefits.

Nonfood items such as pet foods, soaps, paper products, medicines and vitamins, household supplies, grooming items, and cosmetics, also are ineligible for purchase with SNAP benefits.

SNAP participants can use SNAP benefits on eligible purchases from participating merchants by adding a SNAP/EBT card to their DoorDash account. Use your SNAP benefits on DoorDash: Shop on DoorDash with your SNAP/EBT card for eligible food items like fresh produce, meat, pantry staples, and more.

In addition, about 92 percent of all SNAP benefits go to households with income at or below the federal poverty line. SNAP recipients represent different races and/or ethnicities.
