Hi ive done my mincemeat but its so dry i may have put to much suet in the ingrediants its now in the jar but there is no juice what so ever what should i do to save this recipe thankyou

Hello,
Homemade mincemeat is dryer. It will be fine. If you particularly want a wetter mincemeat, you can add a splash of orange juice or alcohol when you come to use it.

Hi thanks for your promt reply I'm so relived As im baking for the school opposite where i live so ive done 4kilos of the mincemeat anyway thanks again
